Dataq hardware connects to the PC using either a USB, Ethernet or parallel port. This makes it ideal for both a laptop and desktop, and for applications in the lab, field and factory. The base model has 32 single-ended or 16 differential channels, 16 bit resolution, an aggregate sample rate of 200,000 samples/sec, and handles voltage inputs to +10 volts for the DI-720, and +1000 volts for the DI-730. Support is for Windows XP, 2000, NT, Me and 98. Adding signal conditioning is convenient with their DI-75B box that includes a power supply. Snap-Master supports IOtech’s WaveBook, DaqBook and DaqBoard product lines. This includes the various 512 and 516 WaveBook models. The full 1 MHz throughput is supported with the new Ethernet connection to the PC. Many of the WBK modules are also supported. Snap-Master runs under Windows XP, 2000 and NT. The DaqBoard support is for the 2000 series including 2000, 2001 and 2005. Most of the extensive DBK signal conditioning product line is also supported. We have extended the support for Keithley I/O hardware with Snap-Master. The new Keithley products are excellent choices for PCI and PC (PCMCIA) cards. The new PCI support includes 10 KPCI models: 3101, 3102, 3103, 3104, 3107, 3108, 3110, 3116, 1801HC and 1802HC. These products have a broad range of features: resolution from 12 to 16 bit, maximum sample rate of 100 to 1250 Ksamples/sec, and the number of channels from 16 to 64 on the I/O card. Also some cards have very high gains along with CJC support to make it affordable to measure large numbers of temperature inputs. With this broad range of products you have the choice of a low-cost solution or a high performance solution. The six models of credit card size PC (PCMCIA) cards make them ideal for laptop applications. PC cards can be either 12 and 16 bit resolution. In addition, support is still available for the 20 Keithley ISA cards that Snap-Master has supported for years.

Snap-Master supports National Instruments E series and other multi-function I/O hardware which includes over 50 models. This includes the following hardware interfaces: PCI, PCMCIA, USB, Firewire (IEEE 1394), and ISA.
“Named Channels” as defined in NI’s Measurement & Automation software (MAX) is supported along with NI signal conditioning. Snap-Master generally supports the NI hardware supported by National Instruments NI-DAQ driver.
Since there are so many models, if a model is not on this list, please check with HEM Data to verify that we support the model of interest. A/D, D/A, digital I/O and counter/timer functions are supported.
