I/O Hardware
HEM Data’s I/O hardware acquires data from an in-vehicle network along with analog, digital and GPS data. Data is acquired with a stand-alone data logger or with a PC.
HEM Data’s I/O hardware listings are separated into two categories:
Option #1: DAWN hardware models to acquire data from in-vehicle networks using a PC or stand-alone data logger
Please click on the option shown above that describes the I/O hardware you are interested in viewing. More details on each option are provided below.
Simultaneously Acquiring Data from Multiple Sources
If you need to simultaneously acquire in-vehicle network data along with analog and digital data directly from sensors, look at Option #1since some models also include analog, digital and counter/timer inputs. And they acquire GPS data.
GPS
Another data source that can be acquired simultaneously is GPS (Global Positioning System). HEM Data’s DAWN and Snap-Master software work with GPS units that conform to the NMEA 0183 standard. Consult with HEM Data to determine the best GPS unit for your application. The GPS unit can be connected to either the data logger or the PC.
Data Logger or PC
If you need a data logger, click on the first option above even if you are not acquiring in-vehicle network data.
